The Quickest Way to Your Next Health Coaching Client
I could write a book, or two, about growing your health coaching business, using online marketing tools and earning more income every year. And one of these days I’m sure I will.
In the meantime, I want to give you the most basic client-attracting strategy I know. Simplicity is too often overlooked and too many new health coaches give up on being in business because they can’t get into the groove of consistent success.
The key to consistency is simplicity. The quick and easy plan I’m sharing here can help you get your first health coaching clients or get you out of a temporary dry spell years into your business.
To make this quick and easy plan work, you should already have:
- clarity about who your ideal client is
- at least one private program to offer
- specific price and payment options
- available time to work with a new client
- belief that you can be successful
If any of these pieces are missing, or shaky, work with a business coach to get clear.
If you’ve got the above elements in place, complete these quick 5 steps now:
1) Decide what you want.
Make it simple, straightforward and crystal clear. Set a clear, do-able goal that’s easily measured. For example: “I want one new private client by the end of this month.”
2) Know exactly what service you want to enroll your new client into.
Be clear what you want to offer and be ready to describe your pricing and payment options.
3) Activate your powers of manifestation.
Spend a little time each day feeling into what it’s like to attract your new ideal client and the income you’ll earn. If you regularly skip this step, your business success will never be as easy as it can be.
4) Get your offer in front of the right people.
This is the step that is often over-complicated. Use the power of email. It can be that easy. When you start with the goal of one new client, an email to even a small number of people can do the trick.
Write an email to your ezine list if you have one, or directly to your circle of friends, inviting them to schedule a Breakthrough Session with you. Post the invitation to your social media circles too. Don’t spend time describing your health coaching program in this email, just share a few bullet points about the benefits of scheduling this initial consultation.
Keep it short and sweet, write from the heart, and be yourself.
Separately, email your former and current clients personally to suggest they invite a friend to schedule a Breakthrough Session. Finally, follow up directly with those who expressed interest in working with you but haven’t enrolled yet.
5) Stay focused.
The biggest mistake I see new health coaches make is not giving a strategy the time and attention it needs to get results. It doesn’t always happen overnight, but it does happen if you stick to it. Instead, you jump to try something new or simply stop putting energy towards reaching your original goal, and you never get any results.
Do it differently this time. I know this advice isn’t exciting, glitzy or glamorous. Maybe it sounds too easy. Maybe you think it can’t work without a long complicated list of 20 things to do. Here’s a secret: if you believe it has to be hard, it’s true. The opposite is also true!
I believe it can be easy. I’ve seen success come easily for me, and for my clients, countless times. I invite you to try the easy way described above, stay focused on getting the result you want and spend time daily activating your powers of manifestation (visualize, meditate, feel into having what you want).
After you get your next new client, start again at step one and stick with it. Practice the art of allowing success to find you.
